Singapore

DP Architects has steadily grown beyond our home in Singapore across Asia. Upon building a strong presence in the Middle East, Europe is the next natural step. Thus, as part of DPA’s global expansion, DP International (UK) was established. Located in the heart of London, our Europe branch gives the larger DP group of companies a strategic foothold in the West. 

Design excellence is central to the focus of our UK branch. To gain recognition as a world-class design office, our team of professionals are simultaneously participating in global design competitions and taking on unique local projects. One of the office’s earliest successes was winning an international design competition for two residential towers – namely, Marco Polo and James Cook Buildings. The towers are developed by Oxley Holdings and Ballymore and form the last phase of their vibrant master plan of Royal Wharf Mariner’s Quarter. Other notable commissions include Millennium Hotel Mayfair London, a high-end hospitality project located near Bond Street in central London, as well as Bonnevaux Meditation Retreat Centre in Poitiers, France. 
 

DP International (UK) works closely with our headquarters in Singapore and all DP offices globally to offer the full suite of services that the DP Architects group of companies can provide.

The office comprises of a committed group of designers able to provide design services from inception to completion on a wide range of building typologies and scales. DPA UK offers seamless world-class design and local knowledge bringing the DP brand to Europe. As globalisation increases, it becomes ever more important to understand Eastern and Western cultures. DPA UK is ideally placed to provide this understanding and offer clients a service of truly global quality.

Mariner's Quarter

Mariner's Quarter

Mariner’s Quarter comprises the Marco Polo and James Cook apartment towers within the Royal Wharf master plan in London. The Marco Polo building, at 58.25 metres, is the tallest waterfront building anchoring the entire development’s corner. To maintain a dialogue between the two buildings, the James Cook building, at 40.25 metres tall, shares a similar façade treatment while reversing its colour palette for subtle differentiation.


Bonnevaux Centre for Peace

Bonnevaux Centre for Peace

Located in the West-Central region of France, close to Poitiers, Bonnevaux Centre for Peace will convert the site of an ancient abbey into a place of meditation and a new home for the World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM). The 65ha heritage site was chosen for its serenity and seclusion, yet it remains accessible, with an international airport close by and resting one and a half hours by train from Paris. This campus of peace and meditation will incorporate a variety of accommodation types:  L’abbaye, the community home; La Grange, a conference facility; L'écurie, the main guesthouse including the site’s central reception; and Le Village Contemplatif, private cells and gardens for self-contemplation and rest.

Millennium Hotel London Mayfair is located on Grosvenor Square, a prestigious and renowned location at the heart of Mayfair, one of the most affluent districts in London and the world. The redesign and refurbishment aims to rebrand the already well-recognised four-star hospitality property as an exclusive, five-star hotel.
